just what I needed! This thing is pretty sweet! I regularly have to review engineering drawings and have been looking for a magnifying glass for a long time. All I could find were cheapo plastic pieces of junk or metal framed scientist versions. This thing comes with an appropriately sized padded zippered nylon case to protect it while not in use and appears to be a nice quality GLASS lens. Pretty much exactly what I was looking for my 84-year old mom I bought this for my 84-year old mom. Her eyesight is not too bad, but with the added complication of cataracts, anything which can help see things more clearly, especially small print, will help her be independent.
