Finish is glossy paint I have several simple modern summit mugs and I was very excited to see a sippy cup version. It’s great and I’m happy with it – i wish it was spill proof but it was clear in the description that it was not. My only disappointment is the finish – I expected the same matte coating as my other summit bottles but it is more of a glossy paint finish, so it does not match the rest of the family bottles as I was hoping, but still a nice bottle.

Slowly leaks when upside down It’s cute. It holds water… most of the time.If your child puts this water bottle in their backpack upside down, it WILL LEAK… slowly over time it will completely empty itself inside your child’s bag.I would not recommend this.

Leak I bought one during Christmas for my son loved how it didn’t leak so I decided to buy two more. The insert changed and they will not stay in place, so they leak ugh. So disappointed.Otherwise I love the cupsThe last two pictures are from the first cup I ordered just wanted to show the different of the insert.
