Shorts are not adjustable The quality on these pieces is great. The only complaint is that the shorts are way too big on my son and they have no way to adjust the waist. There’s a 5 inch strip of elastic in the back, but that doesn’t help at all. Kids shorts should have a drawstring or those adjustable elastic straps on the side so they can wear the shorts for more than a few months before growing out of them.
