What you get, is what you pay for and more. Better than expected! I bought this dress as a Christmas present for my daughter who wanted a ” southern ball gown” to dress up in. She’s 8. I did search through many reviews, and manufacturers to find something that wouldn’t fall apart or have severe defects. I knew I wasn’t spending a ton of money- but I still wanted to but something that was worth the amount I was paying. I expected a costume- at best it would serve it’s purpose, even if it wasn’t up to par to wear in public. I expected the worst, and hoped for…
FYI color slightly different On the pro side: this is a fun unique print. I bought a little larger thinking it would run small but it doesn”t, it is true to size. However, the picture and description say there is a layer of lavendar tulle on the outside. It’s just plain white, so the color comes off more muted. Still pretty, but not as vibrant as pictured. Also, you will need to steam the tulle as it comes very crumpled. Use a petticoat underneath if you want the skirt as full as shown in the picture.
