Tiny! NOT a big girls’ large Tiny! I’m not sure what kind of sizing they were thinking of, but when a clothing manufacturer says “Big girl” it generally means ages 7-16 or so. And large would mean large in that size range. This shirt is tiny. There’s no way it’s going to fit my thin 11 year old. In fact, I don’t think it will fit my skinny 9 year old.This sizing needs to be adjusted. They mean little girl size large, like 6-7 range.
Ordered XL 18/20 but their XL = 14/16. 100% cotton, 18/20 will turn into 14/16 so no real XL available!! Sizing is off! I ordered the Girls XL, which should be 18/20, which I figured it being 100% cotton, will shrink to a 14/16. They sent me XL, however it’s noted on both the plastic outer bag, and on the product as being 14/16. Now that’ll shrink to 10/12, which will be too small! aargh!!!
Fit but Shrunk! My daughter is 7 and average size. We ordered a small and it fit (hitting her mid hip). After the first wash, it did shrink in the dryer on medium heat. It still fit her without a problem but the description does say it was preshrunk. If your child has a long torso, the post-shrunk would be too short.
