Ideal for the toddler with chunky thighs and bottom This is mostly a review in terms of fit– I keep seeing all these reviews about these running large, and that is probably true if your child is slim to average. However, I have what I refer to as a “viking toddler”. She just turned 2 and is about 3 feet tall and ~30 lbs. Great for intended purpose. I bought these training pants in a size 2T for my 2 year old daughter. She is about 35″ and around 28 lbs., and they fit her just fine. These are cotton training pants with a thicker middle cotton panel. They are not waterproof and they do not absorb like pull-ups, but they’re not meant to. Choose the Boys’ Pack Over Girls’ – Better Padding and Size I bought the boys’ sports training pants and those fit perfectly and have great padding, so when I needed more I decided to get some girlier ones. The girls’ version came in and not only are they much bigger, but the padding isn’t as good. If you’re someone who doesn’t care if your girl has little sports balls on her training pants, I recommend getting the boy version.
