because we liked them so much We actually bought two of these, one for 0-3 months and another for 3-6 months, because we liked them so much. They are a great value for your money, and definitely the easiest type of outfit to dress a newborn during the winter. The zipper makes changing him easy, unlike snaps, and it’s of decent quality so I wouldn’t expect it to break–it didn’t for us. The sizing runs a little small. My go to pj’s for baby girl I love these pj’s! I’ve bought multiple in every size available and I almost exclusively use these for my baby from newborn to 8 months. You can’t beat the price. As with all gerber, the brand in general runs a bit smaller than others but that’s not a problem if you know the brand. The zipper is convenient and they wash up wonderfully. Fabric is lightweight. Thinner than Carter’s which is good as baby girl’s room runs warm. I’m sad that my baby is starting to outgrow the biggest size they make…

I live in california where it never gets very cold, all other brands material is too thick. Gerber got it right with this material. It’s like a thin cotton sheet but soft and keeps them warm in doors with room temperature or 75 degrees on my ac. It’s breathable, comfortable and just enough warm for California summer nights.
