This Light-up T-Rex dinosaur toy is mammoth fun at a prehistoric price. At 17″ in length and 9″ tall, this walking, roaring dinosaur toy for boys and girls moves, makes sounds and lights up. Powered by (3) AA included batteries, a simple toggle of the on/off switch has primitive predator on the move. Its lifelike jaws open to roar and its eye and tongue flash green. With each step forward, the spikey plates down the back light up and flash red, green and blue as it ferociously warns of attack. Perfect for dinosaur lovers ages 3+, this light up walking toy makes a megasaurus birthday or holiday gift, and is an entertaining addition to a classroom or playroom. This Dino Rocks! The packaging is great, the T-Rex moves, roars and amuses and the instruction are what one expects nowadays, completely useless but, hey, how complex can an R/C dinosaur that lights up be? It was a 71st Birthday gift for my cousin and he couldn’t wait to bring this back to NYC and show his friends! Great toy!!!!!
Piece of Junk! The dinosaur was cool for 1 minute then it didn’t work! All the lights stopped working and the remote control also stopped working. We had even put all new fresh batteries in the dinosaur and the remote control. By the way, the cheap batteries that already came in the remote control had leaked. The package says it uses 3 AA batteries. It doesn’t say anything about the 2 batteries you need in the remote control also. I sent it back!
6 month update Great out of the box, my son(2yrs old) loved it. Batteries died about 45 min after taking it out of the box so replaced them. Dinosaur didnt power on after that. The slot where the batteries sit is loose so i think they arent making contact causing it no to power on. I returned it. i wont buy it again.Update: manufacture sent me another dinosaur but now the tail(battery area) doesnât stay connected and falls off. Unfortunately itâs not worth $50.
