Who writes these? Do not buy this. This is not a good product and I have no idea who would write the 14 reviews before me to say that it is. I doubt a single one of them actually put the robots together. The parts are flimsy and not well made. The screwdriver that comes with it is extruded plastic that is not molded well as there are sharp parts on the handle. The screws are the size you get when working on eyeglasses, just longer and they all have tiny bolts with a 1-1.5mm diameter. The motors do not stay within their mounts…
Very Exciting! I purchased this for my grandson who just turned 6. There are lots of small parts in the kits, but he can manage that just fine. The goal was that he completed the kits with his dad, and not independently. If the goal is for the child to work on the projects independently, then I this kit is more suitable for an older child. Excellent for developing fine motor coordination I purchased this product to develop the motor skills of a seven-year-old. I’m fed up with spending $50 on one lego set that he builds within an hour. The robot kits were a huge success and kept him busy for a week. The screws are small and he needed to hold the screwdriver in place to assemble the nut, but he mastered the technique and loved the challenge. The kits became fun toys in our household.
