but they had it perfect already. I do not like the new design … The item I received is not the same product in the photo. The photo is of the ‘older’ style Ziploc containers which were discontinued in June 2014. I received the newer style. Ziploc made an effort to ‘improve’ their design, but they had it perfect already. I do not like the new design at all. The lids crack easily and these new rectangles warp. If you are looking for the old style containers, then do NOT buy these unless you don’t mind receiving the news ones.
Dimensions are not as stated The description says the container is 12″ x 8.8″. It is not. It is 9″ x 6″.
Perfect size I gave these containers only 4 stars because, despite my having wrapped aluminum foil around the top of the container AND put it into a plastic bag specifically for freezing, there was still some ice crystals which got inside. Yes, it could have been the bag BUT a true made-for-the-freezer should have kept out the ice. It had been in the freezer for only 5 weeks so it wasn’t an inordinate amount of time. Perhaps I should have given it 3 stars but I did like the size and they had arrived very…
