Very pretty, but not worth the price. Not drip-less, not uniform in size. See attached photo for details of dripping. Very pretty, but not worth the price.The lack of uniformity made it difficult to place in my Menorah. This is also the first time I have used a Menorah as I have never practiced Judaism. I discovered my family roots, and traced the maternal side back to the late 1700’s to Russia. To honor my ancestors who fled the pogroms, I am lighting the Menorah.
Beautiful candles! I’ve bought a lot of Hanukkah candles over the years. They were all hand dipped as these are, but I’ve never had a set that were as beautiful as these. Now I do have to melt the bottoms some to fit in my gold and sterling menorah, but that’s a necessity when buying hand-dipped candles like these. The toughest part of Hanukkah is cleaning out each individual candle holder in a menorah to prepare for the next night. I may start using cooking spray.
They’re pretty, but being hand-dipped They’re pretty, but being hand-dipped, they aren’t quite uniform. Some are too thin to remain standing; others too thick to fit. You pretty much have to melt all of them on the bottom to make them work. In the process of trying to make some of them fit, they cracked. Very delicate, is what I’m saying.
