The Zinger Chair is a true breakthrough in personal transportation! It’s not a scooter… it’s not a power chair. It’s even better… it’s a Zinger! The Zinger Chair is ultra-maneuverable and super stable. The Zinger can turn-on-a-dime, literally. It pulls up to tables and desks just like a regular chair and you can use your feet to push back from your seating area with ease or you can use the built-in reverse. With three speed settings, Zinger easily adapts whether you’re just cruising around the home, keeping up with walkers or if you need to get somewhere quickly… the Zinger goes up to 6 miles per hour. The Zinger Chair is easy to transport. It folds down to just 10 inches in a matter of seconds! Zinger is also only 47 pounds, so it can be lifted into a trunk or carried up or down stairs. It can even be rolled behind you like a suitcase. It fits in your trunk or back seat. Folded dimensions are 10″ H x 25″ W x 36″ L. The Zinger Chair is FUN to drive. With its patented, intuitive design, the Zinger makes getting around enjoyable. Similar to a zero-turn mower, you push both levers down to go and pull them back to stop. By alternating the handles, you can turn left or right on a dime. A trigger grip adjusts the ‘throttle’ allowing you to easily adjust your speed with one finger. Also, the Zinger comes fully assembled so you don’t have to spend hours trying to figure out how to put it together. It’s ready to go! Note the Zinger is a personal electric vehicle, not considered to be a medical device, and has not been submitted to the FDA for review or clearance. It is not intended for individuals restricted to a sitting position.
Nice product, but… This chair seems to be well made. sturdy, easy to use. 4 stars was because the instructions are not very well written. Some of the parts they reference in their instructions they use different names. This causes some confusion. It is heavy for me and I am an able bodied adult. This purchase was for a 96 year old. A video or more clear instructions would be helpful. We watched all the videos we could find. Helpful tips would be a good idea. One thing to keep in mind, you need both hands to…
Great design except for possible hand scrapes Like the sturdiness of the design, it is easy to break down and pull up to use just by pulling the wire at back of seat, good controls and quite strong and fast if needed but controllable too. Only bad marks were no information or paperwork came with the unit so had to go online to see how to setup which was easy when i got it online, most importantly the controls leave your hands at risk of being damaged going through a tight doorframe, i think this is something that is going to be an ongoing…
It’ OK Too soon to know.
