3T fits great for normally 2T wearing tot My son is 20 months (35â tall and 27lb) and normally wears a 2t. I read reviews and saw that this runs slightly small, so I bought a size 3t. Great Birthday Gift! The shirt fit my 3 year old grandson with a little room to spare for his next growth spurt. Very soft (which is hugely important) cotton.
