Stick this lovely bar in your clothing drawers! Put a bar in your drawers! Although I do use this soap in the shower, the real payoff comes from putting a bar in your sock/underwear drawers, linen closet, etc. Every time I open my drawers I’m greeted by the sweet, gentle smell of this soap! The smell lasts forever, too, at least over a year. Just be sure to take it out of the box first. Out of the box it also works well in your linen closet, in a dish in your bathroom, etc. My Nana used to put this soap in her drawers, as did my mom…

Fresh scent, nice lather, rinses clean This is the best lavender-scented soap. I have purchased more expensive, French-milled soaps, and glycerine soaps, olive oil soaps, and Dr. Bronner’s lavendar soap, but I come back to Yardley every time. The lavendar smells fresh and authentic. I should knowâ I have very healthy, blooming lavender right outside the back door.Between myself and my husband, it does disappear more quickly than some harder, block soaps, but an eight-pack on Amazon is very reasonably priced. The Iconic Lavender Soap! This is the only soap I have used for more than 40 years, and it gets harder and harder to find. While this is the “American version” of Yardley’s English Lavender, with a milder fragrance (and softer color) than the version produced for the European market, it is still my favorite lavender soap. Not too heavy, not too minty, not too rosy, as some lavender soaps are.
