This complete package includes a Long Term (1 Year Warranty) Bed Sensor Pad and a caregiver alarm, which can be up to 100′ away from the bed pad, allowing the caregiver to move freely around the home, ensuring that they will hear the alarm as soon as the patient starts to get up, day or night. By placing the sensor pad under the patient’s back area or buttocks, you will receive the earliest possible alert that the patient is getting up. The alarm features three volume settings, and an on/off switch. This simple to use system provides a more comfortable and less stressful environment for the patient than traditional in-room alarm bed alarm systems, as they don’t hear any distressing alarm noise. The caregiver will hear the alert within seconds of the patient sitting up or moving towards the edge of the bed. Pads are sealed for incontinence protection. Alarm operates on 3 C batteries (not included) but to use less batteries over the life of your products, consider purchasing the compatible AC Adapter AC-04EC (12 volt).

10″x30″ bed sensor pad is made of soft vinyl, easy to wipe clean and incontinence resistant. Place the cordless bed sensor pad 30 inches across the width of the bed, under the fitted sheet. Position the pad under the resident’s shoulder blades, alarm will sound when they sit up or place it under the hips, alarm will sound when the resident is lifting out of the bed.
The wireless alarm can be placed in a convenient location closer to the caregiver, away from the cordless sensor pad with low, medium, high volume options and a gentle chime alert.

Works well, but intended to last only 45 days i was stunned to discover that the battery in the bed pad lasts only 45 days and cannot be replaced. That means that this $140 product, which admittedly works well, must be replaced every six weeks or so, which yields an annual cost of over $1200. That’s unacceptable to me, especially since I did not see any mention of the limited battery life in the product description. (If I overlooked that detail, my apologies, and I’ll happily update the review.) Good product but unacceptable longevity.

So helpful – as our folks age, we need … So helpful – as our folks age, we need to keep them safe. And we also need to sleep.They used to have these and they rang a loud bell Inside the person’s room. If I’m elderly and confused, wake up to go to the bathroom….I will Absolutely Fall if I hear a loud jangling noise. Imagine your little baby, rolling off the pad and being awaken by a deafening bell!The Caregiver is the one who needs alertedAnd this bongs (with volume settings – I am a light sleeper)…

So much better than the wired variety!!! This is exactly what I needed for my 89 year old mother-in-law with dementia. A family member stays with her so she can live in her own home, but sleep was difficult for the caregiver for fear we would not hear her when she gets up. I have used the wired variety in the past but they have their limitations. This wireless version is perfect! The monitor can sit next to the caregiver elsewhere in the house and we are alerted anytime Mom gets up. I put it under the water proof bed pad and…
