The write and learn creative center by VTech provides children with an interactive and fun way to give them a head start on how to write. Animated demonstrations help preschoolers follow along to learn proper stroke order for uppercase and lowercase letters. Customize the creative center with your child’s name and the screen will show them how to write it step-by-step. Choose a drawing activity and your child will learn to draw by progressing from simple lines and shapes to 26 different objects. Your little artist can then explore their creativity by drawing their own pictures with the included stencils and stamps while listening to the cheerful music. Requires 2 AA batteries (batteries included for demo purposes only; new batteries recommended for regular use). intended for ages 3 to 6 years.
Her favorite part is writing on the white magnetic part My daughter absolutely loves this. She got it as part of her third birthday present. Her favorite part is writing on the white magnetic part. She is learning her letters faster than she did with other toys that help with learning the alphabet. Even her six year old brother loves to play with it. He loves to help his sister learn.
Okay, but not the best option of other similar toys for learning purposes. Not the best to hold attention really. The power button it the most fascinating button, the other buttons are a bit smaller so she does not use this for learning as much as just smashing the house button all over the screen. Perhaps when she gets older we’ll see if this is any good, but not too much functionality of interest.
Useful to get a head start for preschool! Has really helped my 4 year old with writing letters and numbers! I wanted him to get a head start before reaching preschool age and I think this is going to he useful for him. Shows you how to draw a letter very slowly on the small screen at the top step by step… and allows the child to follow along. We love it!
