They shut off pretty quickly and you can press and hold the button … My son really enjoys this toy but I wish there was a way for the light to stay on longer, especially the color versions. They shut off pretty quickly and you can press and hold the button for a long term light but only as the color white. I have been using this to help with the bedtime process as my son gets upset when I turn out the lights, but with this on he is distracted as I sing him songs and calm him down. It is not too bright or too dim, a good level of brightness.
Great for toddlers. Bought this for Christmas for my daughter. She wasn’t very interested in it at first, but now that she has discovered closets, she’s absolutely in love with it. It’s made of a very tough plastic and can easily handle her tantrums when she throws it on the floor. It’s it now (almost) March and we have yet to replace the batteries.
Good for a little boy with a fascination for all things Lights… My little nephew has been fascinated with “ights! ights!” since he was an infant. Now he is 21 mos. and loves to trun on and off as many “ights” on his own that he can. So I was excited to find a flashlight made just for his chubby hands and developing mind.
