My kid is not much of a fan of spelling … My kid is not much of a fan of spelling toys but I leave this on one of his play tables and he occasionally plays with it. I didn’t think he knew his letters yet but he can use it to spell so I guess he knows more than I thought. Keeps his interest for ten minutes or more.

I love that he is learning phonics and easy to spell … I got this for my son for Christmas and he loves it! I love that he is learning phonics and easy to spell 3 letter words. He likes trying out the different modes or just guessing which letters might make something and being so happy when he stumbles upon a combination that does. The only reason I knocked a star off is because it is very loud and I cannot find a volume control. I wish I could lower it just a bit, even though it doesn’t seem to bother him.
