Learn to draw, write and more with the interactive DigiArt Creative Easel by VTech! This fun, interactive easel can be transformed from a light-up dry-erase board to a chalkboard and drawing table for more ways to play, combining learning and creativity. Explore the learning activities and learn to draw more than 100 objects and shapes step-by-step by following the lights using the magic pen. Then learn letter and number stroke order for uppercase letters A-Z and numbers 1-20 stroke-by-stroke. Children can also explore their creativity and draw anything they want while listening to 10 classic songs. Requires 4 AA batteries (batteries included for demo purposes only; new batteries recommended for regular use). Intended for ages 3 years and up.
Writing tool made poorly for something that can’t be replaced At first I absolutely loved it. My child enjoyed using it daily and she was taking what she had learned to regular crayon and paper. Shortly after use the rubber part of the pen fell off and refused to write. I tried everything to fix it but nothing worked. Even went out and got a regular stylus to see if it would work but nothing. Now my child can only press buttons and she gets over that pretty quick. Product would be a lot better if replacement parts were available to purchase. I don’t see…
I just wish the instructions were a little more fun and easier to see My daughter likes this. It does teach her how to draw letters and numbers. I just wish the instructions were a little more fun and easier to see. But its one of the first technology easels so I can’t have too high of an expectation. She likes the whiteboard and I enjoy that its not too bulky taking up space.
Low Resolution of Pixels I think this easel could have been a bit more comprehensive in the way the drawing panel displays a free hand drawing, alphabet, or selected object. It is very abstract and does not convey a good image of the intended drawing, alphabet, or object because of the limited amount of pixels. It is best used as a board for erasable markers than use of the electronic drawing feature because of it’s low resolution of pixilation. The chalk board works fine though and I have no complaints about that.
