Great costume My daughter liked this one a lot but the neck piece was uncomfortable to keep on during the party so we only put it on for pictures. Also, we had to safety pin it to the costume because its not tight enough just from the Velcro band. I had to starch the neck piece also the night before and let it dry over night so that it stood up. All in all it was a great buy for the price. Dress fit fine… Collar was too big The dress fit fine. My daughter is small / slim. I replaced the laces in the front of the dress because the factory laces were cheap made & we had trouble keeping them tied. The collar was also too big, just not made for a kid with a skinny neck. The strap had a short piece of velcro, which the collar couldn’t fit snug against the back of her head, it kept flopping down towards her shoulders.
Nice design but very poor quality The design of the dress is very nice and elegant (it’s the only one my daughter liked), but the dress is very flimsy, the quality is very poor (some of the stitching is coming off already and it hasn’t been worn yet), runs big (long rather than large). Because of that, it’s quite over-priced. The collar strap is way too long so the collar doesn’t stay up. I will have to add a piece of Velcro to make it tighter or find an alternative (a cape with a collar?). Overall, it’ll do for a couple of…
