Childproof Your Home I recently purchased a six pack of these locks to make sure I’d like them. I do. They attach easily by the 3M tape applied to the pieces, they do not require any drilling or permanent damage to cabinets and drawers, and they work well. Though they are firmly attached with the tape, I’m assuming they are easy to remove, should you decide you no longer require them. Great locks! I have a file cabinet in my home office and I guess my floor is a little tilted and the cabinet door is super loose. The cabinet has old wood drawers on little rollers and it opens very easily. When I have to make sure it stays closed, I’ve been using tape. But of course, you can only use tape so many times before the stickiness goes away and it doesn’t look great.
