Comfortable splint for mallet finger This is a good splint for those suffering from “mallet finger.” It’s bendable, which I liked because (with the help of a pair of pliers) I bent the splint into the exact shape I needed. I also cut mine shorter so I could slide it further back on my finger, this gave me the ability to type while wearing the splint. The velcro is attached, which is nice because it doesn’t slide off the way some of the other splints I’ve tried did. There’s also padding on the underside of the velcro…
More comfortable For me, this is much more comfortable than any of the other splints I tried for Mallet Finger. It is universal size, I wear a mens XL glove and it is just right. Might be to big/long for smaller fingers. Bought two, one to rotate after a shower/getting wet. I like that it can be bent to position the fingertip up. Also, to increase comfort, I found a cotton “sock”, like from white linen gloves, to put over my finger that helps wick away moisture.
Product was about the best one to use but have not had much luck … Product was about the best one to use but have not had much luck changing the finger after weeks of using this. Maybe see a doctor. But worth a try!
