My mother is bedridden and (1) has very sensitive skin and is prone to rashes from almost every diaper on the market and (2) frequently retains urine and then purges 16-32 ounces at a time.My mother had a skin rash that her nurses were unable to cure for 10 months. I highly recommend this style of diaper We were using pull ups, thinking these tab side diapers were too -whatever! However, it is much simpler to change this style than remove and replace shoes and slacks, and they collect more you-know-what so we don’t need the liners we were using with pull ups. With this type, we use three per day, morning, noon, and over night, which saves a little time and money each day. I highly recommend this style of diaper.
Heavy duty protection These diapers are extra heavy duty (absorbancy wise) and seem to be comfortable. I can’t ask my Mom if they are comfortable but she never has crease marks or irritation from them. They run a bit small (I use Large for my Mom even though when she wore regular clothes she was only a Size 10, with 30″-32″ waist) so I would order a size larger than you think you might need.
