Great for Short Term Walker Use Bought these to use on my walker following knee surgery. With fairly heavy use, indoors and out, each pair lasts 3 to 4 weeks. But each order includes 2 pairs, and they’re fairly inexpensive, so that didn’t bother me. I can see where it might be a pain if you’re needing to use them long term, but for temporary use, the price is worth it. Also very convenient to have them pre-cut for fitting them on the walker legs.
No wonder they sell these as a 2 pack These things lasted less than TWO WEEKS with minimal use!!!! They may look like tennis balls, but they are not! When my mom’s plastic glides broke all I had were green tennis balls, the ones you actually play with, on hand so I cut an X and put them on get walker. Little over 6 months later, with frequent out of the house usage, the balls finally wore down and the leg punched through. So I ordered these balls liking the deal, color, and them being pre cut…. popped them on and…
Tough to attach It’s a great premise – precut tennis balls, but the precut “X” was actually not cut though all the way and was not a big enough “X” to fit over the bottom of the walker. I had to pull out a pair of scissors and spend time lengthening and widening the cuts. I’ll probably just stick with tennis balls next time, though these blue walker balls are a bit firmer than regular tennis balls so that is one positive.
