Beware of scratchy particals in bars of soap I used to love this stuff – 5 stars. Unfortunately there is some kind of problem in the manufacturing process lately at Tom’s with this bar. I have been getting it on subscribe and save for about three years now and over the last year or so, every bar of this soap has small dried grains of soap (or something that doesn’t dissolve like soap – maybe paraffin wax from the manufacturing process??) embedded in the bar itself. Wonderful soap at new, OUTRAGEOUS price My husband and I love this soap and have used it for years. It is mild and creamy, it does a great job of cleaning, it is not a drying soap, and most of all, IT DOESN’T SMELL. However, this completely unreasonable price hike is beyond me. Last winter, I paid $12.19 for 6 bars (Subscribe and Save order), and now I have to to order it from third-party sellers, where it isn’t even available for less than $35 for 6 bars. THAT’S CRAZY!!!
