Cheaply made, awful product Terrible! Broke the first time I used it. I had another similar hook, made by Eddie Bauer, which lasted over a year, until I lost it. I used it frequently to hang reusable bags from the shopping cart handle, since my baby in her car seat was in the large part of the cart and I had no room for groceries. THAT hook was amazing and could withstand a lot of weight! THIS hook is a cheap imitation! I am utterly disappointed with the mommy hook and plan on returning it.
Holds 8 shopping bags! This Mommy Hook is amazing!!Yes, it looks simple, but it is so much more. I have tested it, and it can strongly hold 8 shopping bags!! It is so strong! When I am not needing to use it, it is hanging on my stroller and while it may appear large, it doesnt get in the way, or cause me any distraction at all. I have bought 3 of these as gifts and every mom I know loves it! Highly recommended.
Design flaw and poorly constructed I purchased this item to hold a very long cord when it is wound up, for a piece of equipment our business uses. The hook was used to grab the cord once wound, and secure it to a metal piece on the equipment. Still, a similar use to its intended purpose.The spring pin on the opening of the hook broke with in 3 days of use. The pin popped out, causing there to be no spring tension, thereby the hook would not stay closed. I forced the pin back in, hoping it was just a fluke. Popped out again…
