Don’t get ANYTHING on them… SO, first off…LOVE the book shelf. It is beautiful, functional and is sturdy. BUT…don’t get so much as WATER on them. The paint is off two of the shelves. My daughter put a cup of water on the shelf and it spilled. I went to wipe it up, only to find that the paint went with it. 🙁 Needless to say, the black material underneath the color doesn’t look wonderful with the rest of the book shelf.I wish they would have put something over the paint to seal it better…or…

Just beautiful, and beautifully made Just beautiful,and beautifully made! Very sturdy, a real quality piece of furniture and a joy to put together. You have to concentrate and focus to assemble it, but it’s not a piece of junk like most furniture that needs to be assembled – the pieces are good and it turns out very solid and all comes together very smoothly. We love this bookcase, can’t praise it highly enough. We are looking forward to getting one or two of the matching pieces, The bookcase is tops, it’s a dream…
