Good light and efficient on energy I’m happy with these liight bulbs. They are brighter and provide better light than the halogen bulbs they replaced. The reason I took off one star is that I have these installed in an armoire which has three brightness settings and these bulbs only provide two brightness levels. The dim level is brighter than the halogen bulb dim level which is fine but the medium setting provides the same brightness level as the high setting. It was the bane of my existence trying to find one locally at my local Loweâs and Home Depot, so bless Amazon. Solved Overheating Problem These relatively tiny LED bulbs solved an overheating problem in a fixture originally designed to house incandescent lamps of the same size and shape. The incandescent bulbs caused the fixture to be dangerously hot to the touch — and in one case hot enough to cause the bulb to explode. The fixture designers obviously were seeking good looks not safe lighting.
