Better than LED and incandescent blacklight bulbs I bought a 60w incandescent bulb from GE for $5 and it was the least brightest and also got so hot. I also got a 7w LED bulb from GE for $11 and it was not very bright either, but did stay cool. The 20w CFL worked the best and was $9 and was only slightly warm. I would definitely order the Amazon sunlite brand CFL bulbs again.
Best CFL blacklight (2015) These are the best cfl style blacklights currently available. I’ve tested blacklight CFLs from sunlite, Feit, Sleeklighting and Slice of the moon. The tested bulbs range from 13w thru 25w. These are the most effective of them all. I don’t like to say bright because a blacklight that looks bright isn’t a good blacklight.
