When a patient suffers from a stroke, one of the biggest issues can be residual pain in the hand. This stroke hand splint is soft and comfortable, while also reducing and preventing the painful flexion contractions that can plague people throughout the recovery process. These same issues with curling of fingers and flexing of fingers can be a symptom of carpal tunnel syndrome and later stages of Parkinson’s. Luckily, this functional hand splint eases those symptoms, and can be used for long term relief. The impeccable design and flawless engineering means it is highly breathable and the microbial fabric eliminates odors, sweat, and other issues. This means the splint can be worn on a daily basis, and even worn overnight. The softpro splint is designed for consistent use, and will be a necessity once the patient first tries it on. While many practitioners and physical therapists recommend designs that cost hundreds of dollars, American Heritage is thrilled to be able to provide a high quality, functional resting splint at a fraction of the cost. We are an American company and are happy to be here to provide support, from purchase through practice, we stand by our product and stand by you.
She loves it!! I bought this for a friend and she says it’s awesome, very comfortable and a lifesaver. That’s a winner in my book!
Works well My husband had a stroke 3+ years ago which impacts his right hand. This splint does exactly what it is designed to do and is a huge help to keep his hand open, relieving muscle aches.
Bang for the buck! Really satisfied with this order! I have tendinitis and a regular wrist and thumb brace doesnât help much because I can still wiggle my fingers and canât rest the full hand/wrist. With this, I would wake up feeling rested and I would be ready to use my hand for the whole day. So worth the money!
