Fun will be had This set looks good and will hopefully be used for many years. Now that it’s up, my son is living it. For an American company, though, I was surprised how poor the instructions were. Think of IKEA. Almost no words. I ran into a problem when installing the swing bar in step 7 that wasn’t realized until step 25. Great playset, Stake down Modification Amazing playset. Sturdy and easy to assemble. Watch the assembly videos on the Step2 website. Put it together in about 2 hours. Took longer than I thought due to loose tolerances in manufacturing. Had to drive some bolts with a hammer. Another tip, the rebar stakes that comes with it don’t hold the swing set for long. My solution: helical dog stakes. Took a hacksaw and cut off the ring where you attach a dog lead and run it through the mounting holes where the original stake would go. See…
My kiddos are 2 and 5 and they love this set My kiddos are 2 and 5 and they love this set. They can swing as high as they like without us worrying about it tipping over (after it’s staked).Assembly was a chore, only because we assembled the slide side completely before the swing add-on. The directions you get are for each piece individually so you don’t realize that the crossbeam at the top of the slide part will have to be taken apart to install the swing part.
