I bought this because of the reviews I spent three days reading reviews, checking different sites and hunting in local stores for the table that would work best for my soon to be 3 year old. I am so pleased we picked this table. We are currently using both sides for water only and this winter we plan on bringing it inside and using it as a sensory table. It’s well made and sturdy. I think I put maybe 25 lbs of … I bought this for my 2 year old daughter. We use it with sand and with water, but they all sort of end up mixed together. She loves it. She can play independently for as much as 45 minutes! For a 2 year old, that’s a huge endorsement. Of course, it’s sort of messy and you end up changing clothes after play time and tracking some sand in the house, but that’s no big deal and worth it for the length of time she plays. I would definitely recommend this item to anyone who has small kids and … I ordered this for my 1 year old and she loves it. She loves playing with the sand and the water and it helps her with her balance and encourages her to walk.
