This aluminum pole, though not as strong as steel, is extremely light! That makes it ideal for heavier LED bulbs. A comfortable foam handle provides a secure non-slip grip. The angled connector at the top will come in handy for those angled track light bulbs. It even includes a velcro strap for holding the string against the pole. Excellent! I recently purchased this bulb changer to replace the yellow one I already had from Bayco (see picture). My light bulbs are the smooth R20 type . I previously was able to remove and replace bulbs with the Bayco one but when I recently had to replace two more bulbs, one was okay, but the second one gave me some trouble. Pretty good bulb changing tool! 2 minor DIY tweaks will improve its function Pretty good tool for removing recessed light bulbs from high ceilings. The bulb changer is just the attachment, you will need a broomstick or telescoping pole with typical threading in order to attach it. Suction is actually quite strong on the incandescent bulbs I removed, which are glass and have a very smooth surface. My replacement bulbs are LEDs with a plastic housing, the surface is more “pebbled” than glass and doesn’t seal as well with the suction cup. Solution: wipe the surface…
