Very sturdy, well made Very sturdy, well made. My husband needed me to help him hold it while he installed it, but otherwise, no problem. It has a locking mechanism so you can leave it flush against the wall or out at about a 30-45 degree angle, sorry, just estimating here. We installed in in the bathroom to help me get up and down from the seat. Works great. Prompt shipment, well packaged.
A Godsend I recently suffered from my kneecap going out of joint upon standing. Thus bar mounted in my bathroom makes getting up from the toilet a breeze.
