Great Product !!! I purchased this item in 2013 for my husband and it has proved a life changer for him. He can easily get out of bed to transfer to his wheel chair without the fear of falling. Last week the screw in the stop button sheared off so the curved piece now rotated freely making it difficult for my husband to use the product safely. I emailed Stander Inc. to see if we could get a new screw to repair the bar. Their customer service rep responded to my email immediately asking for pictures of damage so…
Missing safety and portability info This would be a great pole (and is, under some circumstances) if it worked like the webpage says it does. Unfortunately, it is not safe if your ceilings are around 7-1/2 feet high. There are 3 parts to the pole: top, bottom, extension. With the extension, the pole is 8 feet, and extends to 10. Without the extension, the pole works at 7 feet. But at 7-1/2 feet, there is only 2″ of connection between the top and bottom pole parts, right above the hand grabs, the place that gets the most…
