Did not work for us This did not work well for us. My mom sits on a sofa with a recliner attached to it. In order to prevent the cane from getting in the way with the the recliner mechanism we had to move it so far to the left that my mom did not have the strength to scoot over and use the couch cane to help herself. Another problem is that my mom’s right hand is very weak due to a stroke.
Poor weld Vertical arm snapped after 5 months.
It works. I got this a couple of years ago for my mother who has mobility issues. She hated it because she thought I was calling her an invalid, but it has become invaluable for getting her up from the spot where she spends her days.This is nothing fancy, but it works.
