The Stretch Wedges come in two sizes to provide patient with a gentle dorsiflexion at the angle of their preference. Designed to wear nightly to relieve pain primarily for Plantar Fasciitis and Achilles tendonitis, and may be ideal for other conditions recommended by a physician such as tight calves. This comfortable night brace’s purpose is to hold a neutral position for patient overnight, lightly stretching the calf and plantar fascia during sleep. A gentle stretch helps reduce inflammation, muscle contracture, and associated pain. The breathable, lightweight shell is sturdy and has three padded straps with buckles to ensure immobilization. The padding features a washable Lycra covering that is cool against the skin for maximum comfort. In addition, it has a non-slip sole tread that adds safety when getting out of bed at night (not recommended for walking). Do you want to alleviate your foot and heel pain? Cures plantar faciatis This will cure your plantar faciatis. I had a bad case in my left foot. Pretty much put a stop to my running hobby for 6 months. Tried shoe inserts, foot support socks, stretching, and finally a cortisone shot from my local doctor. Nothing really worked. I had continual pain, and running more than a mile was out of the question. Saw this night splint on Amazon, but resisted buying it because it looked so seriously goofy. Finally relented and bought it, however, on advice on runner…
Was not love at first sight, but.. I purchased this after reading positive reviews. I have had 3 surgeries to alleviate the PF that I have experienced over the span of 30 years. A bit cumbersome at night and after 4 nights, in the corner it went. Since then I have purchased a strap brace, in the corner, compression socks, in the corner, a…
Can’t recommend it. Too uncomfortable for me. This splint is literally too stiff. I couldn’t get my foot to stay down in the heel cup, and I had to tighten the straps so tightly across my ankle (in order to keep the splint in the proper position on my foot”) that I’d wake up in the middle of the night with pain due to the straps. No amount of adjustment helped that. I have muscular legs and the sides of the splint weren’t wide enough to accommodate that comfortably. Perhaps this splint works for some, but I can’t recommend it. I…
