No more pain! These $20-ish insoles have changed my life! After 2 years of increasing pain from plantar faciitis, I replaced my standard Doctor Scholls inserts with these. The arch support is better than I’ve found in any other insole, and I like that you can boil the insoles for 2 minutes and bend them to customize the shape to your foot. Within 2 weeks of wearing these, my pain was only about 25% of what it had been. A month in, and I’m NEARLY pain free! Thanks so much. I’ll be buying more of these…
Spenco orthotic Having worn custom orthotics, I was interested in trying the Spenco orthotic because it had a rigid base and was adjustable. The instructions for adjustment were very sparse, stating to place them in boiling water for 2 minutes and to then adjust as desired. This did not work for me, as I would have hoped that the plastic base would have been more malleable, and it was difficult to hold in position while waiting for it to cool. 3/4-length description is not quite right, imo The 3/4 length description is misleading, in my opinion. I have 3/4 length insoles in a few different brands that stop just before the ball of the foot, and those are comfortable and fit well in my shoes. These Spenco Rx Orthotics go past the ball of the foot and only my toes are not on the insole. It’s an uncomfortable place for the insole to stop — and it makes my shoes fit too tight.
