The SP Ableware Supreme Sock Aid is flexible and makes putting on socks easier for people who have difficulty bending or lifting their legs. While being flexible, the Supreme Sock Aid is also just rigid enough to stay open after the sock has been loaded, allowing the foot easy entrance. Once the foot and heel are inside, the three fingers gently bend to accommodate their contours. The smooth inner surface allows the foot to glide effortlessly into the sock while the slip resistant coating on the outer surface holds the sock firmly in place. Loop strap can be manipulated with one or two hands and the length is adjusted up to 30-inches. All plastic, non-porous design eliminates wear and tear associated with cloth sock aids and means it is easy to clean with soap and water, with household disinfectant sprays, and can even be placed in the dishwasher making it ideal for institutions where cross contamination may be a concern. The SP Ableware Supreme Sock Aid comes with a one year limited warranty. Maddak specializes in home healthcare and rehabilitation products for the senior, disability and rehab markets. It is certainly better than nothing This device is okay to a degree. Requires a learning curve, but is still difficult to impossible to use with compression stocking, especially those that are mid-calf and knee length. It is certainly better than nothing, though it is a bit overdescribed by the seller. Sounds easy, but it is not, except with fairly loose fitting cotton ankle length socks.
A Very Useful Item Once you get the hang of it Useful item once you get the hang of using it.I don’t know how I did without it. Since injuring my back I have had to depend on others tohelp me put on my socks. That was Very Frustrating!!! When I first received this sock aid it felt awkward and a little difficult but I soon got the hang of it. Watching the video demo helped me to use it easily.
