Had to do something different….locally purchased bulbs simply do not last…so sad… Needless to say the original bulbs in our GE double oven lasted close to 13-years. Then the top oven which we use the most went out we went to our local store for a replacement….should have been simple….but… the first replacement lasted 1-week with the oven used once. Took it back and got another one as a replacement and that one lasted close to 2-months. Third was as about as good as the second. Went back again for a fourth replacement and that one has now lasted just over a year before…
Easy peasy lemon squeezy It’s a light bulb, so I won’t dazzle you with flowery language detailing the product’s merits. An oven light bulb it is, and as you might expect, it does as an oven light bulb does. I’m only 30% handy and I managed to swap this out in my GE ceramic top oven. Just unscrew the old one, screw in this one, and voila, you’re done. My one complaint is that these come in a four pack, and like most people with ovens, I only have one. I hope I won’t need the other 3 in the near future, and am sure…
7 months of use and they burn out and fall apart If there were such a thing as a negative 10 review, these would get it. I bought these to replace the bulbs in our oven. They are supposedly high temperature bulbs for this purpose. Four of the 4 have not just burned out, but fell apart and had to be removed with pliers. This is a fire hazard and should be banned from amazon. Do not buy this dangerous garbage!!
