Pink Sliders Make Me Happy! Unfortunately I, at a very young age, have been forced to use a walker for the rest of my days and it is depressing to say the least. They handed me this ugly, gray, “meant for someone twice my age” thing with a smile on their face. I felt like saying, “Until someone hands you one of these to use for the next 40 or more years, you can wipe that smile off your face”. But I didn’t. What I did do was sprint (walker style, which for me was walking while dragging my right leg) to…
Cute. Needs instructions. Cute. Functional. Smaller than I thought (see attached photos) Would be nice if the mfg printed some basic instructions on the box these came in or a sheet of paper. The most difficult part wasn’t these “sneakers,” it was the struggle removing the original glide caps on the walker. And, had I not read about the fact that you had to remove the old caps first, I would have sent these sneakers back, thinking they weren’t designed for a walker.
Turns a clunky walker into FUN! I love my new sneaker walker glides! Puts so much fun in a clunky walker. Everyone who sees them comments on them…after they finish laughing at the looks of sneakers on a walker. So glad I ordered them instead of going to the corner drug store for replacements. The only improvement I might suggest is to include instructions. Took me a little while to figure out the center of the sneaker that is inserted into the walker tube unscrews. Other than that I am SO happy I purchased these!
