These turned out to be more than a novelty. I initially ordered these to cheer up a very unhappy mom adjust to using a walker. Turns out, although they are cute, they helped her out in many other ways. What impressed me the most was how they glide so well, making the noisy walker easier to maneuver silently. They also make it easier not to snag rugs so less tripping.Installation was took minutes with the easy to use screw mechanism for keeping them secure and facing the right direction. Oh BTW there is a right and left shoe.
The plugs that came with the walker wore out very easily. you can slide on the ground/carpet more effortlessly … these are very cute but functional also. They were loose when I tightened the screw by hand so I used pliers, only turn slightly so not to break it. I turned it about a quarter of a turn. They have never fallen out and still work great. adorable…
Turns a clunky walker into FUN! I love my new sneaker walker glides! Puts so much fun in a clunky walker. Everyone who sees them comments on them…after they finish laughing at the looks of sneakers on a walker. So glad I ordered them instead of going to the corner drug store for replacements. The only improvement I might suggest is to include instructions. Took me a little while to figure out the center of the sneaker that is inserted into the walker tube unscrews. Other than that I am SO happy I purchased these!
