Elegant plastic plates These were light weight hard plastic plates, that I thought were a very nice touch to use at our engagement party. They worked nice and because they were hard plastic they worked great too. I thought they were very elegant for plastic dishes. I thought about saving them and washing them for a second use, but I was too tired after the party. I am not sure how well they would have held up to a washing.
Note Plate Size My error, but these are luncheon size plates–not dinner size. I will still use them for our pre-holiday cocktail party but need to get the dinner size for Christmas day. I buy this style disposable plate every holiday season and love them–as well as the easy cleanup. The only problem is that my guests can’t believe I’m throwing them away instead of washing them. (I use silver charger plates with them for an added festive touch.)
Incredibly Brittle and Flimsy, Arrived Broken I bought 250 plates for my wedding but when I received them, most of them were broken in shipping. They were wrapped together in groups of 50 and there were plates in the middle of stack that were chipped and cracked. They were very thin and when I took them out of the stack, they easily snapped in half. The plan was to use them for a taco bar but there’s no way they would survive serving tacos. I am returning them. DO NOT BUY!
