So glad we have a black slip in stove So glad we have a black slip in stove, to avoid the stain problems of the clear ones that many are complaining about. I have a nice silicone spatula that was clear and it did turn yellowish over many years, so I guess the clear ones for the stove would do the same. The leg of the “T” is thin enough to easily fit the small gap between sections of counter and the stove top (smooth top), and flexible enough to bend slightly to the contours of the stove edge. The silicone style is far more versatile and with never knowing what my next kitchen set up is going to look like I love/need th I move often (rarely more than 2 years in one place) and these have worked in every situation I’ve needed them for. I have one white (owned for 3-4 years) and just ordered this in clear- now both sides of my stove are protected. My mom has a more expensive magnetic style for her stove and I don’t care for it. !! The BEST gap cap for the crack between your range-top and counter !! This is the BEST gap cap for over the space between rangetop and counter cabinet.It is the real pliable silicone rubber and it is thin yet exactly what we wanted.We got the clear and are completely happy! All the others I looked at appeared to be a hard type plastic.Get THIS silicone rubber one; it is great and fits the bill perfectly.I uploaded a pic with this as well. The clear one you can hardly see 🙂
