Tested positive on 38 y/o with no other risk factors for colon cancer, had 15mm polyp removed from ascending colon. I am 38 years old. I purchased this product after having a change in stool habits (loose stools) a couple months back. This FIT test came back positive. Turns out, the loose stools ended up being related to my diet (I was eating too many Kroger-brand Fudge Bars, so I stopped eating them) and after changing my diet, my stools returned to normal consistency, however even my “normal” stools were testing positive with this FIT test still. Excellent and Easy I took this test April 2016, & being retired RN, I wore gloves and had the stool in the white plastic “nun’s cap” device that sits under the toilet seat…so you cannot miss.. and it doesn’t go into toilet itself. It was very easy to scoop out what I needed. Most pharmacies and maybe even Amazon sells these plastic containers. They are usually used to measure urinary output. Cheap and simple to use. Given the limitations of FIT and the fact that I canât vouch for the accuracy of the product, it is inexpensive and simple to use. No colon cancer screen method is perfect, but Iâll take my chances using this twice yearly. The box with two tests inside is just slightly more expensive.
