Closer to 2000 lumens – dishonest labeling. NOT 2600 Lumens, no matter how long you let it warm up. Measured it with a light meter, and compared it against a 150 watt tungsten incandescent bulb. I’d say that this Satco S7334 40 watt bulb is closer to 2000 lumen output – a good third to half a stop less than the tungsten bulb.Very disappointing, and misleading and dishonest labeling.
Highly recommended and very bright! This lightbulb works great in my two car garage and itâs so much brighter than standard bulbs. I had tried to use LED lightbulbs but turns out that they can interfere with the garage door opener (opener only worked intermittentlyâ FYI, I had to replace the LED bulbs in the ceiling light and the ones in the opener as well) so I found this one and it works great and is very bright. When the garage is very cold it takes a couple of minutes to reach full brightness but thatâs common for this type…

They are plenty bright to light up a large yard area. I live in Texas where the outdoor summer heat is rough and unfortunately, these bulbs just can’t handle it. They only last around 6 months of turning on at dusk and off at sunrise. At only 6 months of usage they are costing more money than I am saving in electricity by switching from my mercury vapor bulbs. So I will not…
