Lightweight plate with “scooping” edge to make eating easier I ordered this plate for a friend with Parkinson’s Disease. He has some difficulty scooping food from his plate. This plate is well-made, and is extremely lightweight. I do understand the purpose of it being lightweight, as that makes it more useful for children to use, or for people with reduced strength to handle it. Shame… This was exactly what I was looking for, a plate with high sides so I could have plenty of sauce (eat a lot of chicken and love the pan juices) along with whatever I am eating. Never put it in the microwave to cook/heat stuff, BUT after literally 3 uses, the bottom started going convex (i.e. bowing out towards the table it needs to rest one). Wobbly Plates Length:: 0:06 Mins I ordered a pair of these plates for my mother-in-law, who has health issues which make it difficult for her to eat from a normal plate. Upon receiving them, I opened the package to find that both plates were warped/cupped. I had read reviews that this was an issue that was possibly caused by the heat in a dishwasher. But these have never been used and are fresh out of the package. I am really disappointed in this product and will be returning them…
