My favorite baby nail clippers Baby manicures are the absolute worst, and you have to trim their nails every other day, right? These clippers make the job easier because you can use them while baby is sleeping and therefore still, but even in daylight the light on the clippers makes it easier to see what you’re doing. And when you’re dealing with tiny fingers, tiny nails, and tiny babies, as well as postpartum hormones that make you cry if you nip baby’s finger… well, any help is good help. The clippers are…
Perfect for newborns! These lighted clippers are great for newborns! I used these for my daughter, who hated having her nails cut. There were a few times I waited until she was asleep in the dark to avoid the fight and had no problems doing an adequate job thanks to the bright lights. She’s now 19 months and I’ve purchased the unlit version since these are much harder to maneuver on bigger nails due to the narrowness of the blades between the lights. And now I have a 2 week old that I’m using these clippers on…
Great! Until it breaks… I’m torn about this product. In terms of baby clippers it worked GREAT. I love the LED feature. It makes trimming nails a lot easier. I used this for 2.5 years (newborn through toddler) with my first baby. The pins holding the lever finally snapped as other reviewers have mentioned. But for a $5 clipper that lasted 2.5 years, that’s a pretty good return on my investment. I am buying this clipper again to replace the first, hopefully it lasts as long if not longer than the first one.
