Everyone-proof! These outlet covers are best suited for those outlets that always have something plugged into them and you don’t need to access much (or at all). They are impossible for me to remove once on, but my husband can with a little effort. So the outlet is REALLY well protected for the kid, but unusable for me. Only usable with Standard cords These were my first of three four tries to find the right outlet covers for babyproofing against my very mobile and curious 6 month old. I like how easy they were to install, but if you have a lot of electronics or tech gear, these probably will not work with your cords. The cover itself is just not wide or tall enough. It only ended up fitting over our vacuum cord (roomba). The cover is also pretty difficult to take off, so I wouldn’t recommend it for an outlet you need to access often…
Bad screws but terrific cover Work well. I have eight of them. The screws are awful. I thought it was just a lemon but all the packs I purchased were this way. The slot isn’t deep enough to use with a screwdriver so it constantly slips out. This makes installation take longer. However even with that, once they are installed they are terrific. It takes some hand strength to open them but I think that is good because that means even the smartest toddler can’t get it open. I like to use them where we have quasi-permanent plugs…
