What they don’t tell you about doorknob safety covers There is nothing easy about this product! I spent 30 minutes trying to separate the two halves. I have watched more than a few U tube videos and they all act like there is no big deal about opening it. Good news. This product is really safe. Can’t be opened. Bad news. Can’t be opened. What the company needs is a user for dummies video that goes step by step on just opening the knob cover. No way I’m putting it on the door knob because then I’d never get it off. Does its job but hard to disassemble I like these because my son canât figure them out (yet), but they are very hard to pull apart. In the package you get two assembled and one unassembled. This two that are assembled almost ended up in the trash. Weâve already decided that when it comes time to take them off our doors we will be cutting them off.
Fits our new larger doorknobs We moved and the old style didn’t fit our new knobs. These are a little larger and fit perfectly. Easy to install. A bit of a pain to take off but we won’t need to do that for a few years. I have arthritis and some days it’s a little hard to open but that’s my only issue.
